The Bonny (Oversea) District of Assemblies of God Nigeria held its 5th Triennial Council Meeting on 15th September 2026 at Finima 1 Church, bringing together pastors, ministers and representatives from churches across the district.
The council meeting was an important gathering for the district, providing an opportunity to reflect on the work so far, discuss matters concerning the growth of the churches and look ahead to the responsibilities and opportunities of the next three years.
One of the major highlights of the meeting was the re-election of the district leadership, with the current leaders receiving a renewed mandate to continue serving in their respective positions.
The following leaders were re-elected:
- District Superintendent: Rev. Genesis T. Anderson
- Assistant District Superintendent: Rev. John N. Green
- District Secretary: Rev. Linus Ikpoko
- District Treasurer: Rev. John Mba
Presbiters:
- Rev. David Nwankwo
- Rev. Prince O. Azunna
- Rev. Ndifreke Sabastin
For the leaders, the new term represents another opportunity to serve, provide direction and contribute to the continued growth of the Assemblies of God work across the district.
As a church under the Bonny (Oversea) District, Assemblies of God Nigeria, Macaulay joins other churches across the district in celebrating the re-elected leadership.
We celebrate Rev. Genesis T. Anderson and the entire district leadership on their renewed mandate. We also pray for fresh wisdom, strength and grace as they continue in their various responsibilities.
Leadership comes with responsibility, and we trust that this new chapter will bring greater opportunities for service, unity and progress across the district.
