The Teens Ministry of Assemblies of God Nigeria (AGN) Macaulay – Restoration Centre has entered an exciting new season with the official inauguration of a new departmental leadership team during the 2026 National Teens Solution Celebration.
The inauguration, carried out by Rev. Blessed Sampson, reflects the church’s continued commitment to raising a generation of teenagers who love God, grow in His Word, and are equipped to become godly leaders both in the church and in society.
Leadership in ministry is more than occupying a position—it is a call to serve with humility, integrity, and a genuine passion for seeing others grow in Christ. The appointment of this new team represents another important step in strengthening the Teens Ministry and ensuring that young people receive the guidance, mentorship, and spiritual support they need.
A Vision for the Next Generation
The Teens Ministry plays a vital role in shaping the spiritual lives of young believers. It provides an environment where teenagers can develop their relationship with God, discover their gifts, build lasting friendships, and prepare for future leadership.
By establishing a dedicated leadership structure, AGN Macaulay continues to invest intentionally in the next generation, creating opportunities for teenagers to grow spiritually while learning the values of responsibility, teamwork, and Christian service.
This initiative reflects the church’s mission of nurturing young people who will stand firm in their faith and positively influence their communities.
Meet the Newly Inaugurated Leadership Team
The following members have been entrusted with leading the Teens Ministry into this new chapter:
- President: Bro. David Mato
- Vice President: Bro. Barisua Nwanee
- Secretary: Sis. Destiny Waripamo
- Assistant Secretary: Sis. Divine Mato
- Treasurer: Bro. Emmanuel Sagbe
- Financial Treasurer: Bro. Confidence Waripamo
- Public Relations Officer (PRO): Bro. Anointed Thomas
- Assistant PRO: Bro. Emmanuel Sunny
Each member has accepted the responsibility to serve with dedication while encouraging fellow teenagers to remain steadfast in Christ.
Leadership within God’s Kingdom is ultimately about serving others. The Bible reminds us in Mark 10:45 that even Jesus came “not to be served, but to serve.”
As these young leaders begin their journey, they are encouraged to lead by example, demonstrate Christ-like character, and inspire others through their words and actions.
The church also recognizes that effective ministry is built on prayer, unity, wisdom, and dependence on God. We therefore encourage every member of the congregation to remember these leaders in prayer as they carry out their responsibilities.
The future of the Teens Ministry is filled with hope and expectation. With the support of the church, committed mentors, parents, and dedicated leaders, this new team has the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of many young people.
May this new season produce stronger disciples, deeper spiritual growth, and more teenagers who boldly represent Christ wherever they go.
The entire AGN Macaulay family warmly congratulates the newly inaugurated leaders and celebrates this significant milestone.
We pray that God grants each of you wisdom, strength, grace, humility, and unwavering faith as you serve His people. May your leadership bring glory to God and contribute to the continued growth of the Teens Ministry.
